Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania Teak Coffee Table DS-336: Size, Assembly & Weathering

What size is the Anderson Teak Catania Coffee Table, and what seating does it suit?

The Catania Coffee Table (DS-336) measures 62" wide by 34" deep and stands 15" high, a wide, low-profile surface for a deep seating group. It is the table used in the Catania deep seating sets, where it sits in front of the 82" Catania sofa with 16.5" cushioned seats. Its size suits a sofa-plus-chairs arrangement better than a single loveseat, so measure your seating group before ordering.

Is assembly required for the Catania Coffee Table?

Yes, the Catania Coffee Table requires assembly when it arrives. It weighs 112 lb, so plan for two people to unpack and position it. The table is made from A-grade teak with large, wide slats and a smooth, well-sanded natural finish in honey golden brown. It ships by LTL freight to the curb or driveway by appointment, and inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after ordering if you prefer.

Can the Catania teak coffee table be used indoors as well as outside?

Yes, the Catania Coffee Table is suited to both indoor living rooms and outdoor seating areas, and it is listed as outdoor weather resistant. Outdoors, the teak will weather to a silver-gray patina over months unless you oil it, while indoors it keeps its honey tone longer. Natural grain and color variation between slats is normal for solid teak and not a defect.
