Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania Teak Chaise Lounge SL-339: Positions, Size & Care

Does the Anderson Teak Catania Chaise Lounge recline flat?

Yes, the Catania Chaise Lounge (SL-339) has four seating positions, from upright sitting to completely flat for sunbathing. It is built from solid teak with 4mm synthetic rattan webbing and measures 78.25" long by 29" wide, with an overall height of 18.5". A 4"-thick Sunbrella cushion is included. Leave some room behind the head end so the backrest can be raised without hitting a wall or pool edge.

How heavy is the Catania Chaise Lounge, and is it easy to move?

The Catania Chaise Lounge weighs 112 lb, so it is stable in wind but best moved by two people rather than dragged. It arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to put together when it arrives. Because it ships by LTL freight to the curb or driveway, plan to have a helper there to carry it to the pool deck or patio, and lift rather than slide it across pavers to protect the legs.

Will the Catania chaise lounge fade or turn gray in the sun?

The teak on the Catania Chaise Lounge will gradually turn silver-gray if left outdoors untreated, which is natural weathering and does not weaken the wood. To keep the honey golden brown tone, apply a teak oil or sealer periodically. Clean the frame with mild soap and a soft brush and avoid high-pressure washing. Bring the Sunbrella cushion in or store it dry during long rainy spells to extend its life.
