Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Orders are processed in 2–3 business days, with delivery about 5–7 business days after processing. Smaller items ship to your door by ground service; large furniture ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway on a scheduled appointment.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania 11-Piece Teak & Rattan Dining Set: What to Know

How many people does the Catania 11-piece teak and rattan dining set seat?

The Catania 11-piece set seats 10. It includes one DS-337 Catania extension table and ten DS-335 Catania dining chairs with cushions. The table extends with one or two leaves, so you can shorten it for everyday meals and open it for gatherings. A 2" umbrella hole with a wooden plug is built in.

How durable is the synthetic rattan on the Catania dining chairs?

The Catania chairs combine solid A-grade teak frames with 4mm synthetic rattan webbing, and the set is listed as outdoor weather resistant. Clean the webbing with mild soap and water and a soft brush. The teak weathers to silver-gray unless oiled, and the included 2 1/2" Sunbrella cushions should be stored dry in long wet spells.

How much space and delivery planning does the Catania 11-piece set need?

Anderson Teak lists the Catania 11-piece set at 190" wide by 95" deep and 30" high, and it weighs 610 lb, so it needs a large patio. It ships by LTL freight, curbside by appointment, across multiple cartons. Some assembly is required; inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after ordering.
