Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Casablanca 24" Backless Teak Chair: Spa, Shower & Dining Use

Can the Casablanca backless teak chair be used in a shower or spa?

Yes, the Casablanca backless chair is suited to spa and shower areas as well as dining. It is teak with a smooth, well-sanded natural finish, and teak's natural oils help it resist moisture and rot. Rinse it and let it dry between uses to prevent soap buildup.

How big is the Casablanca 24" backless chair?

The Casablanca backless chair measures 24" wide by 17" deep and 18" high, with an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb. It weighs 30 lb, easy to move between a bathroom, spa and patio. The curved seat allows seating from either direction, useful at a picnic-style dining table.

Does the Casablanca backless chair need assembly?

Yes, the Casablanca backless chair requires assembly, and a cushion is not included. It ships small parcel directly to your door. Outdoors or in a humid bathroom, the teak weathers to silver-gray unless oiled; that is cosmetic. It carries Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty against manufacturing defects.
