Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Capistrano Rectangular Teak Coffee Table: Size, Finish & Care

Is the Capistrano rectangular coffee table big enough for a sofa?

Yes, the Capistrano coffee table's 50" by 26" top is sized for the Capistrano sofa or loveseat and is the table used in both Capistrano 5-piece sets. It stands 18" high, a comfortable height for deep seating. It weighs 50 lb, sturdy enough to stay put but light enough to move.

Does the Capistrano coffee table come finished or unfinished?

The Capistrano coffee table has a smooth-sanded, unfinished teak surface in its natural honey golden brown. Unfinished teak weathers to silver-gray outdoors over months; apply teak oil or sealer if you want to maintain the golden tone. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush, and avoid high-pressure washing.

Can the Capistrano coffee table be used indoors?

Yes, the Capistrano coffee table suits indoor or outdoor seating areas. Indoors, out of the sun, the teak keeps its honey tone much longer. It requires assembly and ships small parcel to your door. It carries Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty against manufacturing defects.
