Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Capistrano Deep Seating Ottoman FAQ

Is assembly required?

Yes. Review the included instructions before assembly or use.

Are cushions included?

Yes. The product title and order confirmation govern what is included.

How should I compare this model?

Compared with a deep seating armchair, this one-seater ottoman is designed for leg support rather than upright seating; compare its 11–17-inch listed height and 25-inch width and depth with the chair dimensions before pairing.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Capistrano Deep Seating Ottoman DS-804: Size, Fit & Cushion

Will the Capistrano ottoman work with my deep seating chair?

The Capistrano ottoman is designed to match the Capistrano deep seating armchair, loveseat and sofa. It measures 25" wide by 25" deep with a listed height of 11" to 17", so check that range against your own chair's seat height before pairing it with other brands.

Can the Capistrano ottoman be used as a seat?

Yes, the Capistrano ottoman is rated as a one-seater with an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb, so it works as extra seating or a footrest. It weighs 50 lb and includes one Sunbrella cushion. Custom cushion colors are available and take about 3 weeks.

Does the Capistrano ottoman need assembly?

Yes, the Capistrano ottoman requires assembly, but it is a small job. It ships small parcel directly to your door rather than by freight. The teak frame weathers to silver-gray outdoors unless oiled; clean it with mild soap and a soft brush. Anderson Teak covers it with a 2-year limited residential warranty.
