Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Brisbane Deep Seating Teak Bench with Cushions: Size & Care

How many people fit on the Brisbane deep seating bench?

The Brisbane deep seating bench seats three on its 72" width and has an estimated weight capacity of 500 lb. It is 29" deep and 38" high, and weighs 90 lb. The cushions are included, making it a comfortable alternative to a sofa on a porch or along a wall.

Will the Brisbane teak bench fit a narrow porch?

Often, yes: at 29" deep, the Brisbane bench takes less depth than many deep seating sofas while still seating three across 72". Leave walkway in front of it so people can pass when the bench is occupied. At 38" high, it also sits comfortably under many porch windows. Measure your porch width and depth before ordering.

How do I care for the Brisbane bench and its cushions?

The Brisbane bench's teak frame weathers to silver-gray outdoors unless you oil or seal it; that change is cosmetic. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush. Store the included cushions in a dry place during long wet periods. The bench ships by LTL freight, requires assembly and carries a 2-year warranty.
