Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Orders are processed in 2–3 business days, with delivery about 5–7 business days after processing. Smaller items ship to your door by ground service; large furniture ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway on a scheduled appointment.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Braxton Teak Dining Chair: Size, Weight Capacity & Care

How much space does the Braxton teak dining chair take at the table?

The Braxton dining chair is compact at 17.25" wide by 20" deep and 36" high, so you can often fit one more chair per side than with wider armchairs. It weighs 25 lb and has an estimated weight capacity of 250 lb. Allow about 24" of table edge per diner for comfort.

Will the Braxton teak dining chair hold up outdoors?

Yes, the Braxton chair is kiln-dried teak finished with a water-based sealer, and teak is naturally rich in oils that resist rot and insects. It can live outdoors, though the honey golden brown tone will soften toward silver-gray over time unless you re-seal or oil it. Wash with mild soap and a soft brush.

Can I get a cushion for the Braxton dining chair?

Yes, although none is included. Optional cushions are available separately in specified Sunbrella fabric colors and custom options. Custom cushions are made to order and take about 3 weeks. The chair ships small parcel to your door and requires assembly. If you are buying several Braxton chairs for one table, order the cushions at the same time so the colors match.
