Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Amalfi Deep Seating Armchair: Comfort, Size & Teak Care

How comfortable is the Anderson Teak Amalfi Deep Seating Armchair?

The Amalfi Deep Seating Armchair is built for lounging, with a deep seat and an included Sunbrella cushion that is 6" thick, made of foam wrapped in Dacron. The chair measures 31.25" wide x 36" deep x 32" high and has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb, more than many standard patio chairs. It is a single seat, ideal as a reading chair on a porch or patio.

Will the Amalfi armchair fit on a small porch?

The Amalfi armchair needs a space about 31.25" wide and 36" deep, plus room to stand up comfortably in front of it. Pair two with the Amalfi Side Table (16.5" high) for a compact conversation spot; that 3-piece arrangement has a listed width of 96". At 50 lb, the chair is light enough to reposition, and it ships by small parcel.

How do I care for the teak frame of the Amalfi Deep Seating Armchair?

Clean the Amalfi's teak frame with mild soap, water and a soft brush. The honey golden brown teak is kiln-dried and treated with a water-based sealer; outdoors, the sealer wears and the wood gradually silvers, which does not weaken it. Reseal to keep the warm tone. Store the cushion in a dry place during long wet spells or winter. Assembly is required.
