Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Alura 79" Dining Table: Seating, Teak-Aluminum Build & Care

How many people can sit at the Anderson Teak Alura 79" Dining Table?

The Alura 79" Dining Table seats six to eight: Anderson Teak pairs it with six Padua chairs in the 7-piece set and eight Padua chairs in the 9-piece set. The table measures 79" wide x 39" deep x 30" high. With eight, you get a more sociable layout; with six, everyone has extra elbow room. Allow space behind each chair to pull out.

Will the aluminum frame on the Alura dining table rust outdoors?

The Alura's frame is powder-coated aluminum, 2mm thick, which does not rust the way steel does, and the table is described as weather resistant outdoors. The top is A-grade solid teak. The teak will weather to silver-gray unless oiled or sealed, while the dark grey frame keeps its color. Rinse off dirt with mild soap and water, and avoid abrasive cleaners on the powder coat.

Does the Alura 79" Dining Table require assembly?

Yes, the Alura 79" Dining Table requires assembly, and at 130 lb it is a two-person job. It ships by LTL freight, delivered curbside or to your driveway by appointment; inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after ordering. Rubber shoes on the base protect patio and indoor floors. The table carries Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.
