Q: What is Grade-A teak?

Grade-A teak is cut from the dense, mature heartwood of the teak tree, the part richest in the natural oils that let teak live outdoors for decades. Anderson Teak uses A-grade plantation teak across its outdoor range.

Anderson Teak, answered

Is this genuine Anderson Teak?

Yes. Chic Home Deco is an authorized Anderson Teak dealer, and every item is authentic Anderson Teak sourced through the manufacturer — with the full manufacturer warranty intact.

What is Grade-A teak?

Grade-A (A-grade) teak is cut from the dense, mature heartwood of the teak tree — the part richest in the natural oils that let teak live outdoors for decades. Anderson Teak uses A-grade plantation teak across its outdoor range.

How much is shipping, and how long does it take?

Shipping is free to the contiguous US (lower 48) and DC on orders of $2,000 or more, and a flat $150 below that. In-stock orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days, with estimated delivery of 7–14 business days from order confirmation. Large pieces may ship by freight, and the carrier will call to schedule delivery.

Can I pay in monthly installments?

On any order over $2,000 you can pay with Affirm in 12 equal monthly payments at 0% APR — we cover the interest, so you pay exactly the sticker price. Just choose Affirm at checkout. Subject to eligibility and approval.

What warranty comes with it?

Each piece is covered by the applicable Anderson Teak manufacturer’s limited warranty for the original purchaser (coverage varies by product and residential vs. commercial use). As your dealer, we help coordinate eligible warranty and freight-damage claims. A copy of the written warranty is available on request before purchase.

Will the teak turn gray over time?

Left outdoors untreated, genuine teak naturally weathers to a silver-gray patina — this is normal and does not affect strength or durability. If you prefer the honey-golden tone, it can be maintained with periodic teak care. Natural grain, color and texture variation is part of real teak.

Is assembly required?

Most pieces require some assembly, which is straightforward with the included hardware. Each product page lists whether assembly is needed and the full dimensions.
