The Outdoor Plus

The Outdoor Plus (often abbreviated TOP) is a California-based American manufacturer of premium, handcrafted outdoor fire and water features — including gas fire pits, fire bowls, and fire tables. Products are made to order using high-quality materials and the brand's own electronic ignition systems.

The main options are glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) — roughly 50% lighter than standard concrete, with color cast through so it won't peel or rust — plus metal builds in Corten weathering steel, stainless steel, and hammered copper. Concrete offers a stone-like, architectural look; the metals develop a distinctive patina over time.

Both. Every model can be configured for natural gas (connected to a gas line for continuous use) or liquid propane (run from a standard tank). Many designs also offer a concealed compartment to hide a propane tank.

For a rectangular, table-like fire feature, look at the Del Mar or the low-profile Cabo Linear; for a wood-look finish, the Coronado; for round designs, the Sedona and Cazo (with a wide ledge for drinks); and for a tall, high-output centerpiece to gather around, the Unity. Use the model links above to compare each line.

Options range from match lit (simplest, no power needed) to flame-sensing and spark systems, up to electronic ignition. The electronic and Smart Weather systems relight automatically in wind and can be wired to a switch, remote, pool controller, or home-automation system.

Yes. Each piece is individually handmade to order in the USA. Because they're handcrafted, slight variations in color and texture are normal and make each fire feature unique.
