Match Lit Ignition Simple & affordable
Manually open the gas valve and ignite the burner using a long lighter. No electrical connection or transformer is required.
The installation must include an accessible gas shutoff or key valve. The exact key-valve arrangement may depend on the selected bowl and configuration.
Best for: Buyers who prefer straightforward manual operation, lower initial cost and an installation without electronic controls.
Low Voltage Electronic Ignition CSA Certified
A CSA-certified electronic ignition system designed for convenient operation through a compatible switch, timer, remote or automation control.
The system monitors the flame during operation. If a safe flame is not maintained, the control system closes the gas valve and follows its programmed safety sequence.
Requires the compatible low-voltage transformer, properly sized wiring, a GFCI-protected power connection and professional gas and electrical installation.
Best for: Poolside installations, landscape projects, frequent use, hospitality settings and installations that benefit from remote or automated control.

Liquid Propane or Natural Gas? Select on product page
Liquid Propane: Requires a properly regulated propane supply configured for the LP version of the bowl. A propane cylinder or external tank is not included.
Your installer should confirm the appropriate propane source, regulator, hose routing, ventilation and cylinder-retention requirements for the planned installation.
Natural Gas: Connects to a permanent natural-gas supply. The line must be properly sized to provide the bowl’s stated maximum BTU without excessive pressure loss.
LP and NG components are not interchangeable. Select the correct fuel configuration before ordering.
Professional Installation Qualified installer required
This is a fixed outdoor gas appliance rather than a portable decorative fire bowl. Gas installation, line sizing, pressure verification and leak testing should be completed by a qualified installer in accordance with local codes.
A readily accessible manual shutoff must be installed outside the bowl. A key valve near the bowl is also recommended for convenient flame adjustment.
Low Voltage Electronic Ignition: Requires the compatible transformer, correctly sized low-voltage wiring, outdoor-rated connections and a GFCI-protected power source. Electrical work should be completed by a qualified professional where required.
Mounting & Site Preparation Plan the base first
Fire bowls are generally installed on a properly constructed column, wall, pedestal or other stable non-combustible support. The supporting structure must be capable of carrying the bowl’s full installed weight.
Where a mounting bracket is supplied, it must be secured with anchors suitable for the supporting material. Installation anchors are generally not included.
The center utility opening should not exceed 4 inches × 4 inches, unless the product-specific documentation states otherwise. An oversized opening may prevent the mounting bracket from being secured correctly.
Preserve airflow beneath the bowl, keep drainage openings clear and provide enough access for future inspection and maintenance.
Clearance, Drainage & Placement Outdoor use only
These bowls are designed for outdoor use only. Do not install inside a home, garage, shed, tent or enclosed structure.
Required clearances depend on the bowl’s maximum BTU output. Current installation guidance generally requires 36 or 48 inches of surrounding clearance and 96 inches of overhead clearance. Always follow the exact manual supplied for the selected model.
Do not assume that placement beneath a patio cover, pergola or other overhead structure is automatically permitted.
Choose a location with reliable drainage and keep the opening beneath the bowl free from standing water, debris and materials that could restrict ventilation.
Avoid direct flame exposure near dense stone such as granite or marble, which may crack when exposed to concentrated heat.
Before First Operation Final safety checks
The installer must verify the correct fuel type, gas pressure, line capacity and operation of the shutoff before use.
All gas connections must be leak-tested during installation. Never operate the bowl when a gas leak is suspected.
Use only fire-rated lava rock, approved fire glass or other media specifically designed for gas fire features. Do not use river rock, gravel or other materials that may retain moisture and fracture when heated.
Do not excessively cover the burner or ignition components with decorative media. Follow the media-depth instructions in the applicable manual.
Not intended for cooking. Keep food, wood, paper, leaves and other combustible materials away from the bowl.
Remove the cover before lighting. Once the bowl is fully cool, keep it covered when not in use and ensure that the drainage opening remains clear.

- Shipped on a pallet by freight truck (LTL freight — not UPS or FedEx) and wrapped for transport.
- Delivery appointment. The carrier contacts you to set a delivery window, so someone can be home.
- Curbside delivery. The driver delivers to your curb or driveway. Plan for two people to move it to its final spot.

Your purchase includes applicable limited warranty coverage, with Chic Home Deco here to support you before and after delivery. As an authorized online retailer, we are your point of contact for order, freight and eligible warranty claims.
Warranty Coverage
This product is protected against qualifying manufacturing defects that prevent safe and correct operation. Coverage for this complete fire feature and its covered components includes:
- Complete fire feature and powder-coated body: 1 year
- Stainless-steel or aluminum fire pan: 5 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use
- Burner rings and burner bars: lifetime warranty
- Electronics, gas valves and pilot assembly: 1 year for residential use and 6 months for commercial use
Electronic-component coverage applies when the components are purchased as part of a complete fire feature or qualifying pan and burner kit.
Electrodes and spark igniters are not covered because they are lifespan-limited operating components.
Coverage applies only to the original purchaser, is non-transferable and begins from the original sale or shipment date recorded for the product.
How We Support Warranty Claims
If you experience a possible manufacturing or component issue, contact Chic Home Deco as soon as the issue is discovered and provide:
- Your Chic Home Deco order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product and affected component
- A short video when the issue concerns ignition or operation
- Photographs of the installation and connections when requested
Our team will review the documentation and coordinate the warranty process on your behalf. Depending on the issue, additional troubleshooting, testing, photographs or inspection of the affected component may be required.
When a claim qualifies for coverage, we will coordinate the authorized repair or replacement of the affected product or component. A complete product replacement is not automatically required when the issue can be resolved through repair or replacement of an individual component.
Do not return the product, ship a component, arrange a repair, discard parts or modify the unit without prior written authorization from Chic Home Deco.
Made-to-Order Products
Each piece is individually manufactured according to the size, finish, fuel type and ignition system selected when the order is placed.
Please review your selected configuration and delivery information carefully. Contact us immediately if a correction is needed. Orders cannot be canceled or modified once production begins.
Made-to-order products are final sale and are not eligible for discretionary returns or exchanges due to a change of mind, preference change, project change or a later decision to select a different configuration.
This made-to-order policy does not apply when a product arrives damaged, is fulfilled incorrectly or has a verified defect covered under the applicable warranty.
Incorrect Item or Production Error
If the delivered product materially differs from the model, size, finish, fuel type or ignition configuration shown in your Chic Home Deco order confirmation, notify us immediately and no later than 48 hours after delivery.
Please provide your order number and clear photographs of the product, manufacturer labels, packaging and packing documentation. Retain the product, pallet and all original packaging while the issue is reviewed.
Do not install, operate, alter or return an incorrectly supplied product before receiving written instructions from our team. Prompt reporting and complete documentation are required so that we can properly investigate and resolve the issue.
Freight & Delivery Damage
Inspect the complete shipment carefully before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt.
- Photograph the pallet and complete shipment before removing any packaging
- Note all visible damage, missing items or packaging concerns on the carrier’s delivery receipt
- Refuse delivery when the shipment has severe visible damage
- Keep the pallet, carton and all protective packaging materials
- Notify Chic Home Deco immediately and no later than 48 hours after delivery

Concealed damage must also be reported as soon as it is discovered and within the same 48-hour inspection period. Freight carriers require prompt and complete documentation. Delayed reporting, discarded packaging or an unnoted delivery receipt may limit or prevent recovery through the freight claim.
Conditions Not Covered
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage, deterioration or performance issues resulting from:
- Normal wear, cosmetic changes or expected finish aging
- Natural material, color or texture variation
- Differences between an actual finish and its appearance on a screen
- Natural weathering or patina development on materials designed to change over time
- Water intrusion, overheating, misuse, abuse or improper storage
- Improper installation, maintenance or failure to follow the supplied instructions
- Unauthorized alterations, modifications or repairs
- Damage caused by installers, movers or other third parties
- Damage or malfunction caused by incompatible third-party products or components
- Surface-level rust on stainless-steel components
Certified products and ignition systems must not be altered or modified. Installation and operation must follow the supplied manual and all applicable local requirements.
Repairs, Testing & Authorized Returns
Approved warranty claims may be resolved through repair or replacement of the affected product or component, depending on the nature of the verified issue.
A product or component may need to be returned for inspection or testing. If testing determines that the product is not defective, it will be returned and no warranty credit or replacement will be issued.
All returns require prior written authorization and, when applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization. An authorization is valid only for the stated product, issue and validity period. Authorized returns must be shipped within the provided instructions and timeframe.
Returned products must be packed carefully. Damage occurring during unauthorized or inadequately packaged return shipping is not covered.
Warranty coverage is limited to covered products, components and authorized in-house repair. It does not include installation, removal, maintenance, on-site service or contractor labor. Incidental, consequential and indirect expenses are excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Protecting Your Fire Feature
Use a suitable stainless-steel or weather-resistant canvas cover to protect the fire feature from harsh weather while it is not in use.
Keeping the unit covered helps preserve the finish and internal components. The cover must always be removed completely before igniting or operating the fire feature.
Proper installation, maintenance, storage and operation are necessary to preserve warranty eligibility and the service life of the product.

Which ignition system should I choose?
Match Lit is the simplest: lit by hand, no electricity. Match Lit with Flame Sense adds a safety shut-off if the flame goes out. Low Voltage Electronic Ignition lights at the push of a button. Available options differ per model and are shown in the options above. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll recommend one for your setup.
What is the difference between GFRC, powder coat, corten, stainless steel and copper?
GFRC is glass-fiber reinforced concrete with a cast-stone look in up to 10 colors. Powder coat is a durable colored finish in 9 colors. Corten steel develops a natural rust patina, stainless steel stays bright, and hammered copper darkens to a warm patina over time.
What is the difference between a fire bowl and a fire & water bowl?
A fire bowl is flame only. A fire & water bowl combines the gas burner with a water spillway, so water pours out below the flame. Fire & water bowls are usually placed on a pool edge.
