Is FARO a patio heater or a fireplace?

FARO is best described as a patio gas heater with real flame. Unlike standard patio heaters, FARO prioritizes visual ambience and design while still delivering meaningful warmth.

Does FARO require a flue or ventilation system?

No. FARO does not require a flue. It is designed for outdoor use and operates safely without permanent ventilation installations.

Is FARO a fixed installation?

No. FARO is a portable outdoor gas fireplace. It does not require a built-in gas line. It runs on a propane/LPG cylinder and can be repositioned whenever needed.

How much heat does the FARO produce?

FARO delivers a heat output of 5.0 – 8.0 kW. This is ideal for warming seated outdoor areas, especially when positioned near lounge seating or dining tables.

What outdoor area can FARO comfortably heat?

FARO is designed to provide comfort in outdoor zones of approximately 6 to 12 m², depending on wind, temperature, and placement. In larger or windy areas, multiple units are recommended for even warmth.

What fuel does FARO use?

FARO runs on Propane / LPG. The unit is designed to work with a standard propane cylinder.

How long does FARO burn on one gas cylinder?

FARO can burn for up to 55 hours using an 11 kg propane cylinder, depending on flame height.

Can I adjust the flame height?

Yes. FARO features adjustable flame height, allowing you to increase warmth on cold evenings or lower the flame for soft ambient glow.

Safety, Setup & Usage

Can FARO be used indoors?

FARO is designed for outdoor use. It may only be used in a very well-ventilated area, where at least 25% of the space remains open for airflow.

Can FARO be used under a patio cover or pergola?

Yes. FARO is commonly used under patio covers and pergolas, as long as the area remains open and ventilated. Always follow local safety rules and ensure adequate clearance above the flame.

Does FARO include the gas hose and regulator?

Yes. FARO includes the necessary gas connection accessories. In the Netherlands, FARO is supplied with a 37 mbar regulator (standard for NL).

What size gas bottle fits inside FARO?

FARO is designed to fit a standard 10–11 kg propane cylinder inside the compartment, keeping the patio setup clean and premium.

Is FARO easy to move?
