GENEVAS MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY AND PROJECT CONDITIONS

TWO-YEAR MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY

This Genevas modular sauna includes Genevas MKK OÜ’s two-year manufacturer’s limited warranty against qualifying manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

* The warranty begins on the documented delivery date.
* Coverage applies to qualifying defects involving the structural integrity of the CLT panels, Thermoalder seating, and systems or equipment supplied as part of the approved Genevas configuration.
* During months 1–12, Genevas states that approved warranty shipping and labor costs are covered in full.
* During months 13–24, qualifying replacement parts or components are provided without charge, but shipping and labor charges may apply.
* The warranty is non-transferable.
* It applies only to the original purchaser and original installation site.
* The complete Genevas manufacturer’s limited warranty must be reviewed before ordering.

Chic Home Deco LLC is an authorized online retailer and is not the manufacturer.

* Unless expressly stated in the final order documents, Chic Home Deco does not provide a separate written product or installation warranty.
* Chic Home Deco will assist the purchaser with documenting and submitting a qualifying warranty claim to Genevas.
* Coverage decisions and manufacturer remedies remain subject to Genevas’ written warranty terms.
* Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable federal or state law.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage caused by:

* Improper installation or assembly
* An unsuitable or incorrectly constructed foundation
* Inadequate drainage or water management
* Incorrect electrical, plumbing, or chimney work
* Misuse, neglect, or insufficient maintenance
* Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications
* Third-party products or equipment
* Extreme weather or environmental conditions
* Snow, wind, or structural loads exceeding approved limits

Wood is a natural material. Minor movement, checking, warping, grain variation, color change, and weathering may occur. These characteristics are not necessarily manufacturing defects unless they materially affect structural integrity or safe operation.

FINAL SPECIFICATION CONTROLS

Product photographs, finish examples, website descriptions, and preliminary dimensions are provided for planning purposes.

The following final approved documents control the purchase:

* Signed quotation
* Approved drawings
* Final configuration schedule
* Written order confirmation

These documents must identify, as applicable:

* Model and dimensions
* Exterior and interior finishes
* Heater system and controls
* Glazing
* Included equipment
* Excluded products and services
* Final price
* Delivery method
* Estimated production and delivery timeline
* Installation responsibilities

No heater, chimney, electrical connection, plumbing connection, foundation, crane service, unloading service, permit, or installation service is included unless it is expressly listed in the final quotation.

SITE PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION

The purchaser is responsible for confirming:

* Zoning and permit requirements
* Property setbacks
* Foundation and structural-support requirements
* Drainage and water management
* Electrical capacity
* Water and waste connections
* Chimney and ventilation requirements
* Equipment clearances
* Delivery and installation access

All electrical, plumbing, foundation, lifting, and installation work must be completed by appropriately qualified and licensed professionals. All work must comply with the approved Genevas documents and applicable local codes.

Third-party contractors operate under separate agreements.

* Chic Home Deco does not warrant third-party workmanship.
* Chic Home Deco is not responsible for damage caused by work performed outside Chic Home Deco’s expressly agreed scope.
* Unauthorized installation, repairs, or modifications may affect manufacturer warranty coverage.

DELIVERY AND UNLOADING

The final quotation will state:

* Delivery location
* Freight charges
* Customs and import responsibilities
* Unloading method
* Site-access requirements
* Any services included in the purchase price

Genevas saunas are large modular structures. Crane or extended-forklift unloading may be required.

Unless expressly included in writing, the purchaser is responsible for arranging:

* Suitable unloading equipment
* Qualified equipment operators
* Required permits
* Safe and unobstructed site access

The purchaser or an authorized representative must:

* Be present to receive the shipment
* Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt
* Photograph the packaging and sauna
* Record visible damage or shortages on the carrier’s delivery document
* Report damage to Chic Home Deco as soon as possible

Prompt reporting helps protect a freight claim but does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.

MADE-TO-ORDER CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND RETURNS

A Genevas sauna may become a made-to-order or individually configured product after the purchaser approves the final specifications and the order is released for production.

The final quotation will identify:

* Deposit and payment requirements
* The production-release date
* Permitted changes
* Applicable change or cancellation charges
* Whether the approved configuration is returnable

After production begins, a customized sauna may not be changed, cancelled, or returned except in cases involving:

* Verified transportation damage
* Material nonconformity with the approved order
* Qualifying manufacturer warranty coverage
* Other rights provided by applicable law

Generic website return terms do not override the project-specific conditions stated in the signed Genevas order documents.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Contact Chic Home Deco first and provide:

* Order number
* Delivery date
* Product model
* Available serial numbers
* Detailed description of the issue
* Photographs or videos
* Maintenance records
* Foundation and installation information
* Electrical, plumbing, or contractor information when relevant

Customers must notify Genevas in writing within 30 days after discovering a claimed defect.

Repairs must not be attempted without written authorization from Genevas, except when immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or further property damage.

St. Moritz is arranged with a sauna room, a separate lounge, and a dedicated shower room. The official sauna-room area is 4.4 m² and the shower area is 1.6 m². Because official sources currently differ on the exact total area, use the approved order drawings—not a reseller summary—for foundation and site planning.

Confirm the engineered foundation, delivery path, crane or extended-forklift access, electrical or wood-heater requirements, water supply, drainage, and local permits. The quotation should clearly allocate freight, customs, unloading, utility connections, placement, and commissioning responsibilities.

Genevas presents curated exterior tones, lounge moods, sauna wood tones, and metal-detail finishes. US dealers also display multiple finish combinations, but those option matrices and SKUs have not yet been confirmed as manufacturer-authorized catalog data. Finalize every finish and any price impact in the Genevas-approved quotation.
