Its round bowl flares from a 30" base to a generous 48" top, like a vessel turned on a wheel. Gather around it and the flame sits at the center of everyone's view. The Martillo 48" round fire pit comes in hammered copper, corten steel or stainless steel, so it can feel rustic, earthy or sleek depending on your choice. The Outdoor Plus notes that its copper comes in a hammered patina finish as standard. Copper ages naturally toward a deeper patina, while a corten steel fire pit forms a protective rust layer that suits modern and desert gardens. Stainless steel stays bright and contemporary. The pan has a 2" depth and drain holes, and the burner is 304 stainless with a lifetime warranty. At 24" tall, the Martillo works with both lounge chairs and dining-height seating. It is a round fire pit that looks good from every angle, ideal for the middle of a patio or a gravel courtyard. It ships with lava rock, key valve, hoses and your chosen ignition. Choose liquid propane or natural gas, and pick an ignition from simple match lit to CSA certified 110V Plug & Play. Because each unit is made to order, plan on about 3 weeks before it leaves the workshop.

Dimensions

Diameter

48" (top)

Shape

Round, tapered

Overall Dimensions

48" Dia. × 24" H, 30" base

Fire Pan

24" Dia., 2" deep

Burner

12"

Specifications

Product Type

Round Gas Fire Pit

Material

Metal body; 304 stainless steel fire pan and burner

Available Finishes

Corten Steel, Hammered Copper, Stainless Steel

Ignition Options

Match Lit, Match Lit w/ Flame Sense, Flame Sense w/ Spark Ignition, Low Voltage Electronic Ignition, Plug & Play, Spark Glow (Key Valve w/ Spark Igniter)

Fuel

Liquid Propane or Natural Gas

Included Components

Fire pit, 304 stainless steel fire pan and burner, key valve and key, gas hoses, gas orifice, nipple and 1" black lava rock; electronic units add the electronic valve and pilot igniter

Manufacturing

Handcrafted to order in Ontario, CA (USA) by The Outdoor Plus

Certifications

Plug & Play 110V ignition CSA certified to ANSI Z21.97-2017 / CSA 2.41-2017; Low Voltage ignition CSA certified; Match Lit w/ Flame Sense LC certified

Heat Output

Up to 65,000 BTU

Technical Documents

Spec Sheet – Martillo Fire Pit 48"

Low Voltage Electronic Ignition 30 DC Manual

Plug & Play Electronic Ignition Manual (English)

Flame Sense Ignition Installation Manual

Plug & Play Electronic Ignition Manual (French)

The Martillo 48" is a round fire pit with real handcrafted soul.
